Myofascial Release (MFR)
Myofascial release is a specialized, hands-on treatment approach aimed at improving the mobility of the fascial system. Fascia is a tough connective tissue found throughout the body. In a healthy state, fascia can stretch and move easily, but with physical trauma the fascia loses this flexibility and becomes very tight. Myofascial release treatment effectively identifies and releases these myofascial restrictions in order to decrease pain and stiffness.
