Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a condition characterized by compression of the median nerve as it passed through a structure in your wrist called the carpal tunnel.

Several tendons also pass through this tunnel along with the median nerve. Symptoms of this condition can include pain, weakness, numbness, and tingling.

There are several approaches to treatment of carpal tunnel including Physical Therapy.

Exercises, stretches, massage and manual therapy techniques, and education on splinting, activity modifications, and general wrist positioning are among some common treatments options that we can offer.
